Device: iPhone 4s and iPhone 5
iOS: 7.0.6, 7.1, 7.1.1, and 7.1.2
Description: Multiple messages are shown with a button to delete them in the messages or mail app.
Cause: Tapping “Done” while sliding on a message to bring up the menu.
Recreate By: Slide on a message in the messages or mail app to bring up the “Delete” menu (“More/Delete” in mail) but don’t lift your finger. Then hit “Done” in the upper left corner (upper right in mail). Then release and repeat on another message. You can bring up as many as you like. You can also do this in the notes app with the “Cancel” button.

Siri Sideways

Description: The volume meter is shown rotated differently than Siri.
Cause: Opening Siri in a landscape rotated app and changing the volume.
Recreate By: Open an app that is landscape compatible (such as notes, messages, mail, stocks, etc.) and rotate your device to landscape. Press and hold the home button to open Siri and then use the volume buttons to adjust the volume.

Covered Delete Button

Description: Under Settings>>General>>Keyboard>>Shortcuts part of the “Delete” button is hidden under the list of letters on the right side of the screen.
Cause: Swiping left on a shortcut to bring up the delete button.
Recreate By: Add at least

Disagreeing Volumes

iOS: 4.2.1, 6.1.3, 7.1, 7.1.1, and 7.1.2
Description: The two volumes meters show different volumes.
Cause: Changing volumes while rotating device
Recreate By: Rotate your device to landscape in the music app with the volume all the way off. While holding the volume up button, rotate your device to portrait. You may have to turn off ringer changing with buttons on the iPhone by going to Settings>>Sounds>>Ringer and Alerts.

Delete the Keyboard

iOS: 3.1.3, 7.0.4, 7.0.6, 7.1, 7.1.1, and 7.1.2
Description: The “Delete Note” menu is shown at the same time as the keyboard in the notes app.
Cause: Opening the the keyboard and the delete menu one after the other.
Recreate By: Compose a note and tap done. Then, in quick succession, tap the note to open the keyboard and then the trashcan to open the delete menu.

Sideways Control Center

Device: iPhone 4s and iPhone 5
iOS: 7.0.4, 7.0.6, 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 8.2
Description: Control center is shown coming in from the side of the screen.
Cause: Turning on orientation lock.
Recreate By: Open the notes app with orientation lock off and rotate your device to landscape mode. Open the control center and turn portrait orientation lock on. Then pull the control center part way down the screen.

The screen shots above are from the notes and messages apps, respectively, but this anomaly also exists in the mail app and others.
