Translucent Music

Description: In the multitasking view the background in the music app is transparent, allowing you to see the home screen background. The anomaly persisted for a few seconds even after tapping on the app to open it.
Cause: Leaving many apps open for a long, long time.

Sideways Genius

Description: In the music app, a dialogue box is shown in portrait when the rest of the app is in landscape.
Cause: Rotating device right after pressing the “Genius” button.
Recreate By: Hit the “Genius” button on a song that you don’t doesn’t have enough similar songs to make a playlist and then turn your device right as the dialogue box comes up.

Disagreeing Volumes


Anomaly Information
Device: iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, Pod Touch 2, and iPod Touch 4
iOS: 4.2.1, 6.1.3, 7.1, 7.1.1, and 7.1.2
Description: The two volumes meters show different volumes.
Cause: Changing volumes while rotating device
Recreate By: Rotate your device to landscape in the music app with the volume all the way off. While holding the volume up button, rotate your device to portrait. You may have to turn off ringer changing with buttons on the iPhone by going to Settings>>Sounds>>Ringer and Alerts.
